This is of course going off the assumption that a Drizzt movie would ever be made, but I'm curious which character you think you could actually portray on screen. Sure all of us would like to think that we can play the mighty hero, but who do you think you could play not only in character but attitude and all?

Hey! No fun! I know it's Sage, but Malchor Harpell is mine... I've begun cultivating my beard already!

no worries......I have Sage pegged as Harkle

That works for me. Malchor might have been a stretch, but I've been likened to Harkle in the past, so...

I think Woooly could pull off Bidderdoo Harpell....although as a Were-Hamster and not wolf

Oddly enough, even though we had never met before he drew it (and still haven't), Raymond Swanland's cover for my novel Ghostwalker makes me think I could pull off a decent ghostwalker. I've got the size and the hair/beard down.

Good question. After a bit of a diet, I might be able to get away with a portrayal of The Blackstaff or some random nobleman.

Well, the Blackstaff is a pretty big guy.

Cheers

My lack of the famous Blackstaff height is the one negative against my possible portrayal. Because, otherwise, I've been told repeatedly by local Realms fans that I have Blackstaff's famed beard. And as we know, a wizard often is his beard.

That sounds rather like James Bond's familiar introductory prose: "Bond: James Bond."

Or, perhaps it's like, "Shaken--not stirred."

"Al: Al Dimeneira. Utterly vaporized--not merely vanquished."

I have little knowledge of Realms novels, and as such, may be off-base.

I have some (paltry) theatre experience so I'd like to think I'd be able to pull off different personalities, but I guess one that I would enjoy doing would be Malchor Harpell - Goodly but irritable researcher and teacher. I haven't found a good likeness or physical description of Malchor... I have shoulder-length dark brown hair and a goatee, and I'm a bit on the short side. From what I saw I might be able to look the part? I'd need to look older at least, I guess.

I'd also like to do Miklos Selkirk of the Silver Ravens, and could probably pass for him appearance-wise with make-up. Has he appeared on any novels, by the way?

Al, Al Dimeneira

I think I have the look to be able to be cast as Artemis Entreri. I would also enjoy it :-)

Tristan Kendrick for sure (I am able to piss-off my girl-friendwithout intention)
And that automaticly means the Ffolk have a Dutch accent

Maybe Khelben if I dyed my beard, but...nah, not happening.

Hey, haven't you heard?

Silver . . . it's the new black!

It's almost embarrassing to say this...Elminster.

Oft-grumpy expression, check. Smokes a pipe (sometimes), check. Grey beard (although not quite Greenwoodian), check.

So, Sage- if we're playing Danilo and Arilyn, who's going to be Eliath?

That, I'm not so sure of.

But the Lady K has just laughingly suggested that she could pass as an appreciable Laeral.

Cale.

I'd say I could be a young Vangerdahast. Well on my way to working on his paunch.

Height can be worked around by using forced perspective.

If we are doing a Ghostwalker movie, I could play Bars or Derst.....or maybe they are a split personality and I can do both

I think i could do Cadderly rather well, as i have quite same physical outlook as him. Personality wise Jarlaxle could be better fit ;)

And Beast nice verse!
Delwa Posted - 06 Mar 2013 : 15:11:44
I would like to play Harkle Harpell or Taegan Nightwind. I have a little theatre experience, and I know I can pull off both personas well. I'd like to do Jarlaxle, but I have to be jacked up on potions of Eagle's Splendor (aka, Mountain Dew) to match the old drow's charisma. Harkle is type cast (hey look, my spell worked! Dang it, I'm in the ocean) enough that I could do that without thinking. My favorite Avariel I believe I can draw on enough personal experiences to pull him off without problem.
Dennis Posted - 06 Mar 2013 : 14:01:25

Telamont or Khelben. Barring that, Manshoon (at least my friends would beg me to). Haha

LOL

So who's going to be my Asper?
Quale Posted - 06 Mar 2013 : 12:53:34
Could? some sort of golem

Danilo... very easily.

Great! We'd make a good pair, methinks. And if there are any romantic scenes, I won't tell Lady K, LOL!!
What happens in the Realms... stays in the Realms.

Well since you grabbed Dan, and there is an Arilyn around.... I would make a rather good Foxfire

Then it's settled. All we need is a venue for the three of us to make these dreams a reality. Lets say GenCon... when I eventually get there?
BEAST Posted - 06 Mar 2013 : 03:04:08
I'm Bruenor Battlehammer, I am
Bruenor Battlehammer, I am, I am
I entered Mithral Hall through her magical door
She's had dwarven kings seven . . . times before
And every one was a Battlehammer (Battlehammer!)
She wouldn't have a Frodo or a Sam (No Sam!)
I'm her eighth dwarven king, I'm Bruenor
Bruenor Battlehammer, I am!

Second verse, same as the first!

(Other lines to play with)

I'll lop off yer foot ere I lop off yer hand
I'd rather be a dwarf than an halfling or a man

I could do the voice work for Obould.

Giogi Wyvernspur except I think the character is supposed to be better looking than I am : /
