This is of course going off the assumption that a Drizzt movie would ever be made, but I'm curious which character you think you could actually portray on screen. Sure all of us would like to think that we can play the mighty hero, but who do you think you could play not only in character but attitude and all?

To answer my own question, Pikel. The lack of massive speaking parts added to the fact that I am not the tallest guy out there lead me to believe it is a role I could actually pull off.

I could easily pull of a dwarf of some sort...except for being six feet tall.

Among other characters I've read, I don't think I could play any of them really...not well anyway. Character's I have made would even be hard; but out of all of them I've created, I've always felt I could get away with playing a fighter/thief (woodsy sort...but not a ranger) named Aerik Bandaerson...though I do a rather good Dalor Nal'Raesik Darden as well I'm told.

If I was given my pick of Faerun's characters to play though, I would have to go with Ren o'the Blade...though I wouldn't get punked.

The Old Grey Box and AD&D for me!

I think I could maybe play a good Cattie-Brie. Or Arilyn Moonblade. Gimme that sword!!

Great! We'd make a good pair, methinks. And if there are any romantic scenes, I won't tell Lady K, LOL!! Just as long as they don't use that darn singing sword of his, no one will get hurt.....

I'd make a good Storm. I've got really nice legs, and a wonderful singing voice.

And the fact that I was able to say that shows I'd prolly make a better Halaster!

Since I don't see a restriction to FR heroes in the post, I would like to play one of the Weathermay - Foxgrove sisters (Ravenloft setting) the nephews of Rudolph Van Richten. So little and yet so competent. So weak and yet so effective. To delve into the fog of the unknown and pierce the eeriness with bullets and words, armed with courage, full of self - denial.

Good question. After a bit of a diet, I might be able to get away with a portrayal of The Blackstaff or some random nobleman.

I'm Bruenor Battlehammer, I am
Bruenor Battlehammer, I am, I am
I entered Mithral Hall through her magical door
She's had dwarven kings seven . . . times before
And every one was a Battlehammer (Battlehammer!)
She wouldn't have a Frodo or a Sam (No Sam!)
I'm her eighth dwarven king, I'm Bruenor
Bruenor Battlehammer, I am!

Second verse, same as the first!

(Other lines to play with)

I'll lop off yer foot ere I lop off yer hand
I'd rather be a dwarf than an halfling or a man

Then it's settled. All we need is a venue for the three of us to make these dreams a reality. Lets say GenCon... when I eventually get there?

I would like to play Harkle Harpell or Taegan Nightwind. I have a little theatre experience, and I know I can pull off both personas well. I'd like to do Jarlaxle, but I have to be jacked up on potions of Eagle's Splendor (aka, Mountain Dew) to match the old drow's charisma. Harkle is type cast (hey look, my spell worked! Dang it, I'm in the ocean) enough that I could do that without thinking. My favorite Avariel I believe I can draw on enough personal experiences to pull him off without problem.

I think i could do Cadderly rather well, as i have quite same physical outlook as him. Personality wise Jarlaxle could be better fit ;)

And Beast nice verse!

Oddly enough, even though we had never met before he drew it (and still haven't), Raymond Swanland's cover for my novel Ghostwalker makes me think I could pull off a decent ghostwalker. I've got the size and the hair/beard down.

If we are doing a Ghostwalker movie, I could play Bars or Derst.....or maybe they are a split personality and I can do both

My lack of the famous Blackstaff height is the one negative against my possible portrayal. Because, otherwise, I've been told repeatedly by local Realms fans that I have Blackstaff's famed beard. And as we know, a wizard often is his beard.
