Anyone know if there was any realms lore on her after the BGII games? Or any 3.0 or 3.5 updates?

Very interesting, thank you!

Just found the 3.5 conversion I think is the best:

Changes from AD&D to 3RE

Str 10 - 0 (10)
Dex 19 - 0 (19)
Con 08 - -1 (7)
Int 16 - +1 (17)
Wis 18 - 0 (18)
Cha 14 - +4 (18)

Assuming that "she spent" those 2 level-based ability points on Con (and not going for maximized Wis), her 3RE scores at level 8 would be ...

Str 10
Dex 19
Con 09
Int 17
Wis 18
Cha 18

Pretty neat and way beyond your average 3RE NPC.

Which editon you look for? They have +2 to charisma +2 to intellect, -2 to the constitution, not counting the right dexterity bonus.

Her stats from the BG game

Cleric
Drow
NE

Str 10
Dex 19
Con 8
Int 16
Wis 18
Cha 14

Remember that these scores, if you assume they applied the drow modifiers (which I doubt), are those adjusted to AD&D. They would have changed slightly in 3RE, not least if you add class level - adjustments.

Base - Drow adjustments in AD&D:

+2 Dex, -1 Con, +1 Int, -2 Cha

("Max. Scores" Str 18, Dex 20, Con 17, Int 19, Wis 18, Cha 16)

I'm really surprised WotC never came out with a book that compiled all of the stats from characters based in books and video games. It seems like there would be a pretty decent market for it. But then again, they did a lot of the characters in novels through Dragon articles.

As Wooly noted above, we have tomes which features stat'd characters from most of the earlier Realms novels.

And the DRAGON-related issues featuring stat'd characters from Realms-based video games only covered a few titles, as I recall. There are sites online however, that have attempted to rectify that with varying degrees of success. [Don't have my links handy at the moment.]

Not the video games, but they did cover characters in books... Three times. There was FR7 Hall of Heroes, the Heroes' Lorebook, and the Villains' Lorebook.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Viconia wasn't a canon character but that doesn't mean she might not end up being one eventually, to be used in another story
Penknight Posted - 16 May 2010 : 02:47:23
Sarevok was a great villian. All that was done with his storyline was just great.

The events of the game, however, aren't referenced in FR canon, as the author, Drew Karpyshyn says, "because of their multiple endings, the BG games can't be considered 'official' in the FR world."

What?! My unbelivable powerfull sorcerer which I played throuh uncountaqble times with isn't canon? Damn...

yes, pitiful isnt it?? hahahahaha- Sarevok

Aside from the actual Bhaalspawn aspect, it's somewhat difficult to determine just what can be considered official Realmslore. Though some of the events prior to the endings of the games have been mentioned in official material before.

I think she appeared only in the computer game...
Zanan Posted - 15 May 2010 : 09:25:47
Shar held some appeal in AD&D, but the whole way she and her followers were increasingly depicted in 3E/4E, i.e. some nihilistic madmen, withdrew a lot of my sympathies for that pretty neat, evil deity.

Unfortunately, I don't think it would happen...

EDIT: I saw a lot of Viconia's 3.0/3.5 stats, I even did them myself, but I can't find those I think are the best.

Though it would entirely depend on the context, yes, because that would mean something in a previously non-canon source was referenced in an official canon source -- thus promoting it to canon Realmslore.

Yep! The novels are canon -- so says WotC and the authors of the novels.

I always liked her, especially the storyline where you could turn her good. If someone wanted to post a link for her in 3E or Pathfinder somewhere, I wouldn't mind.

I don't immediately recall there being any official stats for her. You might want to try for some fan-based versions, like those over at EN World.
Elfinblade Posted - 15 May 2010 : 00:20:31
I believe a large portion of the characters and events featured in the various computer games were non-canon for the most part. I have not read anything about her in any lore books.
