hi,

koko is a friend of mine and i was at their gaming session for while, i think this incident occurred after i left. he told me the warrior had death ward on him and someone casted an implosion spell on him.

to my knowledge i have to agree with uzzy, death ward has no effect on implosion, but would sure like to hear about what the elders have to say.

I remember this debate. I'm away from my books at the moment, but if I remember right, this is the explanation.

Death Ward does not protect from instant death from the spell Implosion. Death Ward protects from spells with the [Death] descriptor, which Implosion lacks.

Look at it this way. Finger of Death attacks the soul, while Implosion attacks the body. Death Ward protects against attacks on the soul, not body.

Yeah, I have to agree. I can think of two possible answers to your question, but I'm not sure either are really what you're looking for.

I find your meaning to be a bit unclear... Can you elaborate? More information, particularly the references to where the spells are, will help us help you.
