Death warth spell protect to me implosion spell effect or nat ? for v.3.5 thanks

I remember this debate. I'm away from my books at the moment, but if I remember right, this is the explanation.
Death Ward does not protect from instant death from the spell Implosion. Death Ward protects from spells with the [Death] descriptor, which Implosion lacks.
Look at it this way. Finger of Death attacks the soul, while Implosion attacks the body. Death Ward protects against attacks on the soul, not body. |

hi,
koko is a friend of mine and i was at their gaming session for while, i think this incident occurred after i left. he told me the warrior had death ward on him and someone casted an implosion spell on him.
to my knowledge i have to agree with uzzy, death ward has no effect on implosion, but would sure like to hear about what the elders have to say. |
