What is the status of Kossuth in 4E and if know, could you point me to your source? |

Indeed. I expect elemental deities to be nerfed into exarchs, myself.
Or, they might make the other elemental deities (I can't remember their names off the top of my head) into exarchs under Kossuth. |

Posted - 17 Jun 2008 : 18:17:24 The elemental deities might get turned into primordials, as per the 4E cosmology.
But really, as was stated, we have no way of giving an answer to this question at this time. |

Posted - 17 Jun 2008 : 15:39:50 I can see him surviving, maybe even being the only elemental god to survive, transcending into something more than just the influence over flames. Time will tell. |

There is a difference between the 'stats' of a god - btw I agree with what you said above entirely - and the 'STATUS' of a god (greater, intermediate or lesser god, dead or alive, plot schemes and residing home plane, ect.)
With all due respect, with the shifting in the divine cosmology of the Realms the 4th Ed. brings about the question is absolutely valid, IMHO.

Uhm ... well .. yes. I doubt that they'll chop the elemental deities and even if they do for the sake of 4E, I will simply ignore it. Then again, as it looks, my Realms' in-game world will stop short of 1380 D.R. So much white spots left to be discovered in the 20,000odd year history pre Spellplague. |
