Well

I've received this error a couple of times today and logged a support ticket with the web host this morn. Thus far, I have yet to receive an adequate response, but it is under investigation.

Web hosts tend to be quite evasive when it is suggested that their servers are lacking ample resource, but i'll keep at 'em

Actually, there's some good that's come from this... as it's given me a full error profile to work with for those new ASP scripts I'm (slowly) working on.

I'll talk this over with Big Al and see if we can get a test run on one of them in the Forum proper. I'd be curious to see how they go now...

Apologies for the problems. I haven't encountered the error over the past week myself but will keep an eye out. As i've said before, there's nothing I can really do at the moment due to the server load and resources to the database engine.

Regarding loading speed... i'd actually thought only yesterday how strangely fast it had become lately

I got this error many times today... For about 30 minutes, I could get to the site, because of it.

Apologies for the inconvenience, folks. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do. Candlekeep is run on a shared webserver with limited database resources and until I can afford a dedicated server (likely never), i'm afraid there may be some intermittent problems such as this.

Again, I can only apologise.
