I am a happy Giant Space Hamster of Ill Omen, indeed.

Hurray! Wooly has his avatar back! I have no idea what it is, but it sure is silly. I missed not seeing it since you disappeared from the WotC boards. Congratulations!

Thank you!

And in case you didn't know, there was a reason for my disappearance -- I was banned. But that's another tale.

Nice Wooly, really nice, finally you take out your mask....

I can tell you what's your portrait is a Bubbling Beeble, a Magic The Gathering card if I'm not wrong....

Well, whatever it is, it's silly -- so I like it.

Remember, in Magic you can find zombie hamster cards.

Well met

Aye, "Big Al" indeed, Wooly Rupert

::taps staff of the irritated moderator +5 against his palm::

As to your portrait, simply let me know....I may even allow that strange, furry, goggle-eyed critter thou loves so much

Ooh, really? I shall be e-mailing that one to you, then, as soon as I get to my e-mail!

I like both... Now to figure out which one I like more, and whether or not Big Al will allow it...

So, Big Al, I sent you an e-mail begging requesting the beautiful Hammer of Moradin portrait be my new avatar picture. Wood Elf has pitched in to crop it and everything.

I've not got a scanner, or even access to one, at the moment. But I do have the scan that I found online; I shall e-mail it to you momentarily.

For now take a look at this close-up and this pulled back version of the groundling pic.

I'll be dipped if I can find where I originally found that pic... All it was was a small scan of the original MC entry.

As for the groundling. I can't say I particularly care for it. Thanks anyway, though.

Prolly the latter - pulling back a bit. I'm just not sure what I'm looking at.

The pic I tried tweaking (but wasn't satisfied with) was the image from the Giant Space Hamster entry in the Mounstrous Compendium. A tinker gnome with a Giant Space Hamster on a leash (for comparative scales, place a short person like a kid next to a van).

Its a groundling like I said. And it looks clear to me. Would it help I got an even closer pic of the face? Or maybe back out the other way to give the view of the body?

I did find a pic from the original Monstrous Compendium entry, but it didn't come out too well when I resized it. Maybe if I found a better copy of the original, it could work better...

Which picture?

This is the pic I used on the WotC forums before I was banned, and I use it on the Worlds of D&D forums, as well. I'm not sure if it's a hamster or not, but the sheer silliness of the image appealed to me.

I know silly suits you my friend and believe me I've looked for some silly pictures but we have to find something Alaundo will consent to let you wear

And you got banned?

Have you seen any space hamster pics at all Wooly? I can crop/resize super easy if you have one in mind. I'll be on the lookout for one if you haven't. What would you like anyway? Just a plain hamster or one weilding a weapon or flying one of those spacejammer ships or something?

Well of course! How else would I have made Senior Scribe in less than 6 months?

(Actually, the only other forum I'm active on, I've been there for about a year and a half. My post count here passed the post count there about a month ago!)

Back on a more serious (and topical!) note, I have tried to find an icon more appropriate to my status as the Giant Space Hamster of Ill Omen. But other than the one Big Al already said nay about, I've not found anything good.

I can make avatars for anyone else as well, just ask

Can I put in a vote for the Hammer of Moradin to be included in the next avatar update! My current avatar is nice, but doesn't quite catch my characters uniqueness.

Your old portrait remains exclusive to you, Sage. (I believe its listed under "Sage 2" or some such)
