Is the location and or existence of spell hold the prison for mages in Waterdeep, canon in realms lore or is this something that escaped from that balder’s gate video games? |

Well, I remember Spellhold from BG II, but Lands of Intrigue doesn't seem to mention it. I've used it anyway in my campaign.

spell hold in the bgII game applied to mages from athkatla in amn not waterdeep... so i think the correct question would be is it canon in terms of amnian lore.
