Is this a challenge for them to do? What would be appropriate for purchases? How easy could they forcefully take over a place? |

Century13, Wooly. We're not playing 4e here...
And be sure to ask about foreclosures, I hear you can get some nice property for a steal. |

Posted - 19 Jun 2014 : 02:30:53 Well, yeah. A lone goblin's shack isn't a big deal... but who needs it much as a property, rather than momentary control (ambush site, etc)? So, if the owners are those who can hold onto something and the risk of attracting the Skulls is proportional to the length of a conflict, generally the sum of "not worth the risk" and "not worth the bother" will exceed the value of any given property. IMHO. |

Posted - 19 Jun 2014 : 01:20:43 Taking over a place depends entirely on what that "place" is. Trying to evict the priestesses of Lloth would take a major campaign, and would likely get nipped by the Skulls. Kicking someone out of a shack in Lower Port would just take a strong leg, and no one would care. Remember, the place is completely lawless, and as long as you don't make a scene, anything goes. And even if you do make a scene, sometimes the Skulls just don't seem to care, and don't put it down. |

Why not a nice fortified mansion on Avernus? Would be about as safe.

May be. Delivering the money certainly should be. Or just moving around once everyone knows they're that rich.

Almost anything at random. Typically, living and shop buildings of less than best quality, probably.

Not an option. The skulls won't like it. |
