Posted - 07 Aug 2008 : 23:56:06 I'm considering trying to use the 4E rules in a new realms campaign, and thinking about how much conversation was needed. Made me ask the question what makes the races of Faerun different? And I found I'm not sure of the answer. I'm not talking about mechanics, or pluses on attributes etc. More why is realms Moon elf, different to any other Moon elf? |

Which of these is your point of reference?
Even then, with such a general question, all we'll be able to do in less-than-essay-length posts will be to point up a few discrete, easily visible but likely unrepresentative differences. You won't gain any real understanding of what moon elves are like without reading detailed Realms sources such as the 'elven mindset' and historical information in Cormanthyr (which can be downloaded here).
Or, if you have a more specific query, we can answer that.
Your response kind of represents my problem. I'm looking for a concise answer thats represent what each race is like. I'd settle for a short essay on each race, if someone can point me in the right direction. |

Hmmm, not sure--what other moon elves are you talking about, here, besides the ones from the Realms? |
