Yes, it never really existed. Eric just made it up to get you guys all hot and bothered! Yep, no web enhancement that I know of. Of course, there is that entire chapter of Cos:W that got cut for space. That couldn't be it ... Naaah.

And now that I've read it, I wonder why they had those places where links were meant to be inserted but not actually inserted... Did they not proofread it before putting it together and posting it? |

What the?!? We get a Web Enhancement for a web-based series of articles, and we've still not got the second Waterdeep WE?
Ah... the mystery that is WotC!
I'm starting to think the second CoSWE has become more fable than an actual component of our reality... .

Posted - 07 Mar 2006 : 20:17:48 With Wizards returning to adventures, the large expensive dungeon modules (Castle Zagyg, World's Largest Dungeon, revised Rappan Athuk) published by others, and the Dungeon of the Crypt seeing print, I think there's a chance we'll get an Undermountain book with all the main levels in the next few years. |

Where is this crying smiley? Well, I guess it's not the first time we hear about a really weird behavior from TSR... We can always hope that a future (hinted by R. Baker) Undermoutain product will finally give us the maps of the uppermost part. |

Posted - 07 Mar 2006 : 18:23:37 Ed did the ORIGINAL maps, yes. The PUBLISHED maps of Undermountain use Ed's originals around the "entry shaft" from the Yawning Portal (all those neat-looking little rooms), but quickly mate them to old maps, I believe by David C. Sutherland III, but definitely from a TSR staffer's Empire of the Petal Throne camapign (hence all the HUGE rooms). Ed and Steven Schend and then a lot of divers TSR hands fiddled with those EPT maps to break up some of the starship-hangar-sized chambers. :} Ed did (and does) have 9 levels and 12 sub-levels of original maps, but TSR only wanted a little bit of his uppermost level maps (and nott including the "really" uppermost bit inside Mount Waterdeep, either). love, THO |

... Right next to our other City of Splendors: Waterdeep web enhancement? |
