Thanks for the URL Dargoth . I'd forgotten about that .

That's great, but with whom are you planning to trade?.
Yes... with anyone in the whole wide world! I don't know about Commonwealth exceptions, but I can check at the post office if you wish.
<sigh>
Can't wait for GoL!!! |

Well met
"Giants of Legend" you say? Where, I ask?! Back to work, Sage! Enough of this....this...."borg" talk! |

Here's a (very) small sampling of some of the content that was discussed -
quote: Not necessarily. Remember, Faerun's material technology may be primitive, but the Borg wouldn't know a fireball from a moth ball. What affect do you think a chain lightning spell is going to have on borg circuitry? How about flesh to stone? Or how about transmute metal to wood? Are you feeling me here? Magic is its own form of technology, and Torilians are way more advanced at it then the Borg. So although the Borg may indeed win eventually, don't expect it to be a cakewalk. If you want to get a better picture of hi-tech interacting with fantasy, go take a look at the Barrier Peaks module and the articles in The Dragon dealing with Sheens. There are advantages to electronic tech, but also serious limitations...
And -
quote: Physical, real, effects work on all deities. Its energy and mental effects that are so hard to tag em down with. And, as I said... in Forgotten Realms, your divine rank is based on how many followers you have. The Borg Queen would gain a divine rank that would make her almost a match for Ao. Oh, and as far as AC goes... Borg have complete, 100%, accuracy and precision with weapons firing. If they miss you, its a calculated shot to attempt to make you dodge in a particular direction so they can get a more lethal blow in. Mind you, as energy weapons, they'd ignore most AC in the first place, including the +17 natural armor just about all deities get, among others. And Mystra would take enough damage to instantly kill her from a single borg cube's first volley. (Actually, she wouldn't. All deities are immune to disintegration. If Mystra cast Energy Immunity(fire) then the borg couldn't touch her.)

Yes, I know that .
I was referring to a small clause in the Commonwealth postage law that the UK, Australia, and Canada agreed to in 1983. It made possible certain price exemptions for certain packages over a particular weight. I'll have to re-check the Australia Post manual though, since this law may have changed in the post-September 11 environment.
I'm beginning to wonder what the Sage doesn't know...
Sage is a member of the Borg
Fortuanetly however theres not alot over there in WA for him to assimilate

I think I'll go with cases, as you say. I'm looking to start a type of in-formal tournament for the Sage's PerthCon in August, so the more miniatures, the better . . .
Besides the mini-adventure Lord Rad mentioned in another thread, are there any others adventures for minis available at WotC?.

Ok well both Harbinger and Dragoneye are in sooon will be going out of production
Harbinger contains some classic monsters like Trolls, Mind Flayers, gnolls, alot of orcs, 3 different drow figures.
Dragoneye has the Highly desireable Large red and Mediun Black Dragons the set also has D&D stables like Bugbears, Gargoyles and harpys.
If your buying the minis for DMing then I suggest you buy cases (a case is a box of 16 Expansions) A case will give you 64 Commons 48 uncommons and 16 rares.
You can view pictures of the minis here

There are 3 Types
The War Gamer ie people who play the D&D minis game if you are one of these thn you only want som of the minis ie enough to be the faction/army you want
The Collector: Your after a set, you really own want one of each mini so youve got a set
The DM: You use the minis for D&D to represent monsters in your games (This is what I am) if your a DM you want alot of everything.

Strange as it sounds, I think all FR miniature collectors have added Fzoul to their list...I know I have...
Probably as soon as they settle the debate on whether he's got blonde or red hair.....
Only his hairdresser knows for sure...
Steven WHo puts in a solid vote for brown but out in the sun often enough to bleach it a reddish-blond...
And then someone mistakes him for a Lathanderite......

Going to trade or purchase it solo from someone?
Or try for one out of a random pack as they're quite expensive over on ebay..... I don't have anything worth trading for one.

Thanks for that Dargoth. I've started a miniatures collection of my own, since the Sage is so protective of his. I've already purchased the 'entry pack', but what would you suggest my next expansion pack purchase be?.
