Introduction

Twilight Dawn is a Forgotten Realms PbeM (play by e-mail campaign) by JP Hazelhoff, set in and around Berdusk; the notorious stronghold of the Harpers in the Western Heartlands.

Or is it...?

Some of the merchants have seen disruptions in trade; a few caravans have not made it across from Amn. One of the daughters of the First Folk was attacked by undead not far from the city and within the city walls, a brutal murder and kidnapping of they body took place. Right under the noses of the Harpers and the city guards.

Not such an average late summer after all...

A mismatched group of people drawn into the turmoil by chance has been asked to covertly investigate the recent events. Was it mere coincidence or is there more behind the events. And if so, which power groups are involved. The Zhentarim, the Iron Throne, the Cult of the Dragon, maybe even the Harpers themselves...

An average late summer in the Heartlands, or is it...?

An attack on one of the daughters of the First Folk by undead not far from the city, and within the city walls, a brutal murder and kidnapping of they body took place; right under the noses of the Harpers and the city guards.

Maybe it is not such an average late summer after all...

A mismatched group of people drawn into the turmoil by chance asked to investigate covertly the recent events. Was it mere coincidence? Or, is there more behind the events, and if so, which power groups are involved; The Zhentarim, the Iron Throne, the Cult of the Dragon, maybe even the Harpers themselves...

Matters even have become more complicated as of late. An unknown group has abducted one of the people investigating the disturbances, a priestess of Kelemvor. Can her companions find her and set her free as well as continuing their initial investigation...

The group, back above ground after having rescued the priestess from the bowels of Berdusk, has followed a path to a seemingly normal warehouse in Berdusk; a building that suddenly seems to be a den of evil and might hold further clues to the mystery.
