Character
Description and History
Character History:
Wangar Hammerhead is from a family of low-class makers of weapons
and armor located in a small dwarven village from the small mountain
range just to the east of Leilon. Wangar's father, Bungar, is a
F6, his mother, Dingat, a F3, and his older brothers, Bangar and
Dangar, are both F2's. Wangar learned weapon and armor making skills
in the family business. He also learned brewing skills from his
father who brewed strong dark ale as a hobby.
Wangar and his brother often travelled to Leilon to sell the family
crafts. On one of these business trips to Lielon, he went to the
White Shark tavern for a few drinks. There he met a young mage named
Ren and a young priest named Max who were heading to Luskan on an
errand for the priests temple and then on to a life as adventurers.
Wangar, being bored and tired of being poor, practically invited
himself to come along so his two new friends wouldn't perish in
there first encounter with one orc. Ren and Max were glad to have
a strong axe arm with them and gladly accepted the dwarf into their
company. The three travelled to Luskan and there met three others
in the Flying Fish Tavern, forming what is now the Company of the
Burning Scimitar.
Appearance & Personality:
Wangar has brownish-red hair, beard, and bushy eyebrows. Like most
dwarves, Wangar is fearless in battle and very aggressive. He has
actually become somewhat flamboyant for a dwarf, especially after
he found his magic plate mail that is bright red and decorated with
yellow flames. He always wears hard boots that he has had dyed red
to match his armor and carries a magical shield that he had painted
to match his armor. Lastly, he is never without his prized magical
throwing axe and uses it to devastating effect against enemies of
his group.
Wangar is happy with his position within the adventuring company
at the moment. He has chopped down numerous enemies and gained much
monetary treasure and magic, so he is no longer bored or poor. He
likes to spend his money freely, but is careful not to overextend
his finances. Wangar also loves animals, especially dogs. He owned
a war-dog which was killed during one of his groups early adventures.
After this experience, he has been reluctant to buy another.
