Character Description and History

Ordric was born in Thay. As a child he would sneak into the houses alchemy room and watch his father create potions and test magic. His father never liked him and whenever he saw his son spying on him he would go into a rage and give him a severe beating and tell him not to disturb his studies again. But Ordric persisted to disobey for he wanted more than anything to become a mage.

Being a Red Wizard of Thay himself his father gradually started tollerating his sons belligerence knowing how much he wanted to be a magician when he was a child. He took him on as an apprentice but never could understand why he would never harm his captured animals with his minor spells. His father soon booted him out after Ordric refused to kill a deer they were hunting for with his spells. Ordric decided to go to the fabled city of Silverymoon he had only read about. There he has spent most of his life learning all he could about magic and the way it worked.
