Character Description and History

His mother was the last living member of the family Sephire. She could either marry a gold elf and take his name, or she could marry a moon elf and hope for a gold elf son to carry on the name. While trying to take advantage of a moon elf she found herself actually falling for him, and so they were married and soon she was pregnant. She died during labor and Derrent Lolumbar (Sephire) Alenuath was born. Lolumbar means to deny fate. He grew up knowing that Sephire was his true last name, but he was raised by his fathers family, Alenuath.

The family learned early that Derrent had a gift for magic, but with the near fall of Evermeet (his home) he discovered that he could not resolve himself to a life entirely in a tower. He had no great strength, but his determination to become a defender of Elven cities led him to the profession of a War Wizard. He also reasoned that the best way to defend his beloved people is to learn more about those who present the largest threat. He ventured on to the mainland of Faerûn to live with the races of the world and to understand them more fully.

After a short stint of solo adventuring he happened upon a tiny kingdom run by a pseudo-friendly dwarf named Gimloin. After assisting Gimloin with a skirmish inside his kingdom, Derrent was offered a place as this tiny kingdoms magi. Derrent viewed this as a perfect opportunity to practice his art against many of wilderness creatures of the north borderland. He accepted the offer, and has been adventuring with a selection from 2 dwarfs, 2 humans, 2 moon elves, and a drow.

The teams most recent adventure involved the rise of a demigod called Vecna, and in halting this demigods rise to full godhood, he was noticed by a forgotten demigod known as Agrippa.

This female demigod has every intention of marring Derrent, and he has no problem with this(after all being a demigod, she is a hottie).
