Character Description and History

At 18 years of age and 6'6" in height, Boldar Willowdweller appears as a hulking youth with unkempt shoulder length dark hair. He is quite friendly and enjoys wandering, but prefers small towns and open wilderness to big cities. Boldar is quite cheerful, but immediately becomes serious, efficient, and rather imposing when in dangerous or threatening situations.

Boldar is from a farming family just west of Mirabar. He has a younger brother and two older sisters who all work on the family farm. He attained his huge size and strength at an early age. The surname of Willowdweller comes from the fact that his family dwelling is located in a large grove of Willow Trees. Boldar learned many of his skills by helping his father on the farm. Boldar's father is a retired 4th level fighter.

At age 16, Boldar left home to train with a friend of his father who was a level 6 Ranger. He lived and trained in the norther Neverwinter Wood. In those woods he discovered a Gnomish village and befriended a yound Gnome name Lexam Flumby. After completing his training, Boldar and Lexam decided to go to Luskan to seek others to adventure with.

Boldar and Lexam met an aspiring young Druid name Rytalyn in the Flying Fish tavern in Luskan. They later met three others in the same bar and formed the Company of the Burning Scimitar. This group has had many succesful adventures and Boldar has grown confident in his own abilities and those of his adventuring companions
