The following description is taken from Wizards of the Coast:

'Aliisza has spent years of her life imprisoned in Celestia, even bearing a child—who was then stolen from her and raised by angels. All because her lover, Kaanyr Vhok, had a plan to get into Celestia that he didn't feel like telling her about. A plan that used her like a pawn and afforded her and her unborn child no respect or consideration. A plan that has gone horribly awry, leaving both Vhok and herself in Celestia at the mercy of the same angel who kept her captive and his partner—the son he stole from her and raised himself.

Tauran, an angel of the god of justice who dwells in Celestia, was sure that everyone can learn to be good. But Aliisza is certainly trying his divine patience. He thought she'd learned something, but she betrayed his charity and used his trust as a chance to bring another demon into the heavens. Unfortunately, the two demons are the least of his concerns at the moment.

The absent member of the demons' party is far more than he appears. A priest of the god of murder and lies, he has played all who have crossed his path with expert skill in order to realize some dark design -- the full import of which Tauran cannot yet see. But Tauran is convinced that Aliisza and Vhok are key to stopping the priest -- if only he can convince them to help him, against their will and against the will of his god. How far can an angel go against the will of his god to serve him? '
