Poll Question:
I wanted to see what you folks would like to see me cover next as far as ideal 3.5 Edition parties for certain enemy demographics. I'm starting to run low on ideas, namely ones unique to the Realms, so I'm turning to you folks to suggest for me. Honestly, the first object on the poll is one of my LEAST FAVORITE ideas but I have a hunch someone would put that out there.

So, what do you folks want to see, at this point?

Choices:

Celestials/Good-aligned Outsiders
Elementals
Constructs (namely Golems)
Fey
Magical Beasts
Oozes
Doppelgangers
Humans
Goblinoids
Orcs
Drow
Other (please specify)

An "Oozes and Vermins sanitation crew" would be interesting for those big cities **cough**Waterdeep**cough** with extensive sewers that connect to all kind of locales and end up hosting a variety of misplaced belongings from the city above.

I would think Waterdeep would hire guards for Rat Hills sanitation crews. Definitely a niche market for Oozes and Vermin specialists.

Anti-divine

So, basically a group that might work against a collective of different types of divine casters. Not just clerics, but expect to see paladins, monks (including priest monks), and theurges for the non-nature groups.... and with nature groups, expect druids, rangers, barbarians, etc... But maybe something that might have to function against something equivalent to the godkings of Mulhorand (organizationally).

Ur-priests and Athar (if you allow Planescape) are must-haves for anti-divine parties. My two copper pieces.

Okay I really like the ooze idea Demzer mentioned. I mean that is unique as it gets. My vote: You can never have enough dopplegangers! Of all the things that can throw a real wrench into a campaign, it's creatures (or people using spells) to disguise themselves as someone/thing else. There's a reason players become paranoid about everyone in the game world.

I have a dream that one day, all game worlds will exist as one.

Oh, I guess I should throw out a 'unique' idea about how to use them. Try this: Most DMs use dopplegangers for nefarious purposes. But what if a family died while helping them and the dopplegangers decided to assume their identities for GOOD reasons? Mayhaps the family was working toward some good purpose, ended up helping the shapeshifters, and they decided to carry on their work. Perhaps a child of that family lived and they protected them until they came of age and continue to act as his/her family?
