I am not much of a computer “gamer” but this game seams really great. I think I am going try this one.
Dungeons & Dragons Tactics Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics authentically utilizes the D&D 3.5 rule-set created by Wizards of Coast and allows players to take a party of six adventurers into an epic D&D adventure of turn-based action. Players take on the role of a mortal child caught in a conflict of two competing dragons striving for godhood. Alignment is critical, as it affects the end of the story and allows players to change from good to evil, or the other way around, depending on which quests they choose. Gamers will play through a series of adventures, completing various objectives along the way. D&D: Tactics offers all the Dungeons & Dragons base character classes including Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard. The game has a co-op mode for players to team together through the quest, and also a deathmatch mode where players fight one another with their saved parties.

With 4th Edition on the horizon I think this would be a redundant purchase for me. |

looking at the videos, this is exactly the kind of 3.5 game I've been looking for... when you claim your game uses "3.5", make it 3.5 and not some kind of weird hybrid. This one looks like authentic 3.5 as far as I can see with the demo clips... |

Nah, I'm really only interested in PC games nowadays, and this looks like it's just for consoles. And even if it came out for PC, I'm not sure I'd buy it. |

Well, I got the game, but I didn't buy it. I got it in a trade. I am lovin this game. The character creation is similar to that of NWN. Even the character view upon character completion is similar to NWN. You can even use Psions in D&D Tactics. I rate this game a 10/10. |

The graphics are suprisingly pleasing. You have two viewing settings, overview and a diagonal view. The story starts out with your party trying to get to the Vinsaxi Court (I think its a merc band or something, don't really remember cause I was drinkin last night. ) No matter the Alignment, the plot is the same. You have to take on a series of adventures to discover the cause of a Goblinkin invasion.
I would give more info, but I haven't finished the game yet. |

I am aware of the walkthrough on Gamebanshee, but their walkthrough stops at the begining of Act 2. I have looked at other reliable sites that have the walkthrough, but nothing is of much help.
P.S.

Is this game available for any other platform besides PSP? If it was I'd be all over this game! |

Seeing as how I have just purchased a DS, and do not own a PSP, it is highly unlikely that I will purchase this game. |

Forgive me for performing Necromancy and this thread, but just want to let everyone know that I beat the game a while ago. As far as I can tell, the outcome of the game has 2 possible scenarios.
Good Scenario: You are (Race of your choice) with obvious Dragon traits, who is charged with aiding your 'father' kill a Green Dragon who disguises herself as an Elf Queen, yet this queen secretly runs a large group of Yuan Ti and is bent on killing the main PC's 'father'.
Evil Scenario: Same as the first, except you help the Green Dragon and kill your 'father'.
My review of this game is, that even though it lacks complexity, its an ok game. With its basic turn play system, it plays like ToEE. I thought it would be better, yet for all its hype, it holds much disappointment. |
