I have just purchased a copy of Storm Riders By Troy Denning (FRA1 -- TSR 9281),, which is apparently supposed to have "a colored mapsheet {which} shows Ra-Khati, Solon, and the surrounding rugged country." The copy I bought doesn't have a color mapsheet (the seller and I both thought that the gatefold map was the map listed in the TSR Archives, but it clearly isn't).
SO! I would appreciate it very much if someone would please direct me to a site on the web where this color map may have been uploaded (I know that Wizards has posted a gazillion maps, most of which I haven't seen), or would have a look at their own copy and let me know if some other map (such as the Kara-Tur Trail Map) provides significantly the same coverage of this area.
I have been griping for a long time that the area east of Mulhorrand has received pitifully little map coverage, yet now I find that the first published adventure had a map of the very area about which I want to know more. GAAAAAHHHH! As a last resort, if anyone plans to sell their own copy of it on eBay (cheaply, if you please!), I'll happily bid on it if I'm privately messaged the item number. *sigh*

Have you tried contacting the site/location you purchased the module from and asking them if they can help track down the missing mapsheet? |

Thanks for the suggestion, Sage, but it's an old, stained, battered copy. I'm sure the map was separated long ago. I didn't ask, but I imagine the seller was somebody's parent, cleaning out the kid's room at college time. Ah ... parents.... Some day I may relate how I lost my copy of the "little white box" edition of D&D; at least I hope it was the one with the white label; if it was an earlier printing, I would be extremely unhappy, instead of merely "very" unhappy. (Yes, I confess to dating from an era when D&D was a supplement to Chainmail instead of vice versa.)

I dunno, but I PM'd him about it.
I can't complain too much about the lack of a map -- I got the module chaeaply, but I'm frustrated that I may have to buy another copy just to get the map. At least I was able to lay the groundwork for the adventure, mentioning that Yamun Khahan had a son out Semphar way, he himself having been killed two sessions ago by a thunderous blast of clerical magic ... Gondian death bells! (We call them "cannons.")
FOLLOW-UP: Brenigin, Markustay solved the problem for me. Many thanks for making me think of him!
Problem solved. Case closed. Ita, missa est.
