Which race am I? Why...I am human! |

If you haven't noticed unknown warrior, some scribes here are having fun with you, maybe you could wait a few days before posting again another poll ?
Also bad spelling / lack of punctuation isn't a very good way to make friends her. |

You forgot the "e" in here my friend, while advising our fellow scribe to be careful about his own spelling. . |

Let's play nice here, people. We don't need to be calling each other names and acting rude to each other. If it keeps up, I'll lock down this and any other thread where it happens. |

Human would be the boring answer obviously. Now, I have a suspicion that there is some mix of Gnome and Firbolg in there somewhere, but I have not found the answer to how that happened yet. |

I usually play a Tortoise folk because they have a high AC. ;)
On a serious note, I chose other since I normally DM games so my character's race tends to vary a lot. |

Hm, no dragons and the like? "Others" seems to contain quite a few races which aren't mentioned here. |

But you can't be a human in Faerun. |

I can't vote as the gnome isn't there and I refuse to categorize them under "OTHER" |

I guess that DM isn't exactly a race, is it?
Personally, I was a huge fan of playing elven characters in 2nd Edition, but really came to enjoy running an aasimar (as an NPC) now in 3.5. I guess that overall it would have to be humans, and a close second elves.
Also, I should like to say welcome to Candlekeep, unknown warrior. There truly are some wonderful people here, some of which you've already met. And this is the first set of boards that I've ever seen where the members really try hard to help you out if you have a problem or question. Enjoy your stay in these halls, my friend. |

A very, VERY lonely Firbolg?
Along with a Gnome that is... ummm... shall we say, gymnastic?
You know, this thread got me to think about something very weird (aside from Firbolg/Gnome relations). I dislike Elves a great deal, yet I usually play them. I LOVE Dwarves, but I think I only played one one time (for a single session).
Go figure. |

No, just a gnome with a high opinion on himself. |

I was torn between humans and half-orcs. Now that I see the half-orcs don't have a single vote, I wish I could change my answer. In terms of roleplaying and sincere character development, it's hard to top half-orcs, in my opinion.

As he knelt on the ground with his brothers around and the taste of his blood on his tongue, His brothers knelt by him and prayed him a prayer, and he smiled and he laughed and he sung, "Brothers, oh brothers, my days here are done, the Dornishman's taken my life, But what does it matter? For all men must die, and I've tasted the Dornishman's wife!" |
