Anything major going on in 1362-1363 DR,in the Dalelands that I should worry about?

I can't find anything in particular, and so I'm going to have my 4th level party escort a caravan into Highmoon and then ????. Any suggestions?

Hordes from Dragonspear Castle destroy The Way Inn and head for Daggerford.

As there is a big gap in the Prophecies for mid 1350's to mid 1360's i used this in my campaign to allow me to customize a little of the global politics in 1363 DR Year of the Wyvern.

I started my players out in Loudwater heading to Llorkh late tarsakh to early mirtul. They had some adventures in the area but eventually found there way heading towards waterdeep where they got caught up in the battle at daggerford. From there they felt almost compelled to venture into the castle to remove any traces of evil...boy were they surprised.

Check out this site:

Timeline - Dale Reckoning

It is a very good source for things like that. And of course the upcoming book Grand History of the Realms might help you in the near future.

Nothing really big, overt and drastic happening then. In 1362, Cholandrothipe is slain in Featherdale and the Shrine of Crossed Swords is founded in Scardale-town.

Thank you, Faraer, that's what I needed to know! That means Cholandrothipe's tower is available for PCs to die in plunder!
