"The Siege" or "The Sorcerer" from the Return of the Archwizards trilogy.
=(
Anyone living in the northwest suburbs of Chicago willing to loan the books to me? =)

You could always try your local library... Even if they don't have the book at their location, a lot of library systems freely pass books back and forth with their locations.
Failing that, you may still be able to find them at a local book store.
You could also peruse the various related threads on this site, and see if they are something you'd want to read. Those books seem to fall into the odd category of "you love them or you hate them", at least going by the opinions I've read. |

Yeah my library is connected to a bunch of the other local libraries, and none have these two books.
I just got done with the first one of the trilogy and loved it, so I'm craving to read the other two in the series and then the anthology from the local library.
I've already put an email to an online book store about buying the two books, but I'm looking for the quick (and cheapest) fix. =) I'm also wondering if the library would take the books as donations and put them into circulation.
To add to my woe, I recently went swimming with my cell phone so I've lost all my friend's phone numbers..... one of which likely has the two books. It's amazing how quickly you can feel cutoff from your friends, especially when you don't go to school with them everyday like I did 15 years ago. =( I currently have my phone trapped up inside a ceiling light at work, hoping beyond hope that it will work once I dry it out.... but it likely won't..... but maybe... just maybe... the phonebook is recoverable! =) |

WOOT I called the library to see about donating the books I was to buy, and they said they can request the books from libraries that weren't in the immediate network. =)
I still plan on buying the books and donating them to the local network though. |
