I'm looking for a class that works like a combat orientated rogue or assasin (not the PrC Assasin), I'm grateful for any information about ninja class or prestige class (statted out if possible)

thanks in advance

That is not the weirdest thing that happened to me

Complete Adventurer has the ninja class in it. Oriental Adventures (2rd Edition) has the ninja spy PrC in it, and the old Song and Silence book from 3rd edition has the Ninja of the Crescent Moon PrC in it.

There was also a Complete Ninja's Handbook, back in 2E. It was, as I recall, one of the last of the Complete series.

And there is :

Shadow Sun ninja in Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords page 126
A Shadow Sun ninja is a martial artist who studies the balance between good and evil, light and dark.

The Complete Adventurer ninja is simply awesome. Whoever wrote it: kudos! It took three and a half editions of D&D to get it right, and oh boy is this one right!!!!

As with the monk, in "my Realms" ninjas are powered by Psionics (much like the Soulknife) rather than "Ki". All this Easterness which has "just" come to the Realms ... yet you even find monasteries in the Drow cities featuring 18th level chaps ... is not sitting well with me. You simply wait till the next sourcebook comes out with something likewise exotic (Voodoo-Priest anyone?) and suddenly we have an age old tradition of that too ...

As has been said, the Ninja class is in Complete Adventurer, but honestly, it becomes somewhat boring if you go deeper into the details.
