Yeah id been saving each one in basic HTML every week since it began but now this is just perfect Hopefully they will collate all the other articles like "Perilous Gateways" etc. when they end. Personally I think Perilous Gateways has long overrun!

This is truly a sad day for all Elminster and Ed Greenwood fans.

The Sage takes his eversmoking pipe from the deepest pocket of his robe, lights it, and takes a puff, raising the pipe into the air as a tribute to the Great Mage

I hear that Ed will continue to provide stuff for the FR website just not in the Elminster Speaks column. He told me a long while ago after I pinged him when the REAL Polyhedron bit the dust that WotC had a bunch of Border Kingdoms articles from him that were destined for that magazine but never saw print. I wonder when WotC is going to put those up on the website....?

As for Perilous Gateways, I agree with a previous poster that this web columnh has long lost my interest. How many adventures can someone realistically structure around portals?? I also feel that a few of them are severly lacking in FR flavour despite being set in an FR locale .... move on to something new WotC!

I agree with you George.

I would also like to see those Border Kingdoms articles. I wonder whether we could petition WotC to perhaps post them, so we can experience more of Ed's great stuff.

Sorry Bookwyrm, it's just that I felt, that this was the only way I could express my saddness for this news.

May your learning be free and unfettered

Hmmm, the Elminster Speaks articles DID cover the Border Kingdoms didnt it? I may be mistaken and I havent gone back to check but im sure I recall reading a LOT of articles on the Border Kingdoms. They were also in Polyhedron magazine but im sure that he had wrapped that area up and moved on to somewhere else.

Forget web articles, how about a Border Kingdoms regional sourcebook!!

Wow,Thanks Rad for the link!!! I was wondering how I could get the articles.problem solved.

Courage isn't the lack of fear but rather believing in and doing what you know is right even though fear is present.
