I was so hoping that we'd get to see Eds 2nd Cities of Faerun article

Hello-
Well - it certainly should be interesting.
However - I would not be surprised if there is another surprise. Ed is co-writing it - and unless I'm reading it wrong - it wont be specifically in the Realms. I would be willing to bet he is working on something Else to put in the issue. The "Forgotten Realms update" that they refer to.
Also - do we know what will be in each of the other issues yet? I suppose that it could be that Ed's second city might be put in pre-359...

Well, since it's Ed, I'm sure he'll find some opportunity to drop it into a future FR product that features lore on that particular region.

Also, if you read the thread Dargoth linked to, Erik Mona has said it's likely to contain a final 'Wizards Three' article from Ed. |

Which Ed sorta kinda hinted at in one of his recent replies about Ravenloft. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Hmmm... maybe something about Ascore and the Evil bound under its pyramids? If there is going to be an update, I would assume it has something to do with all the "sundering of the world" -stuff and the ominously named Anauroch-module. Or maybe not? |
