Originally he was going to be doing one novel a year for WOTC, but in his recent interview at the WOTC boards, he mentioned that he is feeling particularly reengergized when it comes to his work, and is thinking of doing two novels a year. It could very well be that he could be doing one book a year as his "Drizzt" book and the other could be whatever path he chooses to take with Jarlaxle and/or Entrerei.
I actually have a feeling that we aren't likely to see Artemis anytime soon, and any Jarlaxle novel is more likely to co-star Athrogate instead.
"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams." --Richard Greene (letter to Time)
Only that it's called "The Orc King" and the series it's in is going to be called "Transitions". Haven't heard anything else.
