There's no need for more explanation. I have a rough idea now of what your new avatar will be...

I had an avatar on the WotC forums that I really, really liked... It is okay to use one imported from there?

[nitpicking]You meant "Is it okay...", right? Because that sentence doesn't make much sense otherwise.[/nitpicking]

From whence did it originate, Wooly Rupert? I believe I recall to what you refer....not very Realms-related, eh?

D'oh, you caught me in one of the rare typos that snuck by me!

I've no idea where it originated from... It might be Realms-related! It could be the work of a really demented Red Wizard...

I just liked it because it really worked for me -- my user name is based on what I consider a silly and skewy concept, and that pic is also silly and skewy...

But I guess that's a no, huh? Oh well, I guess I'll keep looking and see if I can find some other silly creature to use as an avatar...

Apologies, Wooly Rupert. Whilst the picture is quite fitting and amusing to say the least, allowing such would spark all manner of strange beings entering the library.... we would be infested with Pokemon creatures in no time ...and i'm sure none of us what that to happen

This is the avatar I'd envision for Wooly. It's Rupert, and it's very Wooly!

Alaundo, I've sent you an image of the actual "Lady Kazandra" which I wish to use as my avatar. I'm just wondering whether you've had an opportunity to review it yet?

Thank you Arivia, but your compliments should be for the artist. He went to exceptional lengths to capture both my likeness, and that of the Lady Kazandra for this image. A job, well done...

Well met

As some of ye know, there is a problem with displaying avatar portraits with the Mozilla Firefox browser. This has only become a problem since the latest browser release and is due to Mozilla not being able to interpret the absolute file path from the forum database. I am relocating the avatar images overtime. Ye will see some portaits appear, whereas others do not. Until a global replace can be performed, this can be resolved by simply editing thy profile and deselecting then reselecting the portrait.

Alternatively, use Microsoft Internet Explorer

Apologies for the inconvenience.

I noticed that I started to see some avatars and I was like.... hmmm that's odd. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Aye, and after all this time, I have yet to see thy avatar, my dear Kuje

I'm about 1/2 way through the relocations. I should have the rest done over the next day or so, for those who art wondering.

It was the closest I could find cause most of the others are old people with beards. :) Plus.... it kinda looks like me when I have my robes on in RL. :)

Ah but these are Tinker Gnomes that have been rebuilt to be faster and better, each with their own million gold budget.
