The one had been notated before... I'm wanting it, since I'm an Undermountain junkie. 
I wasn't upset at the loss of Undermountain articles... They were so generic that they didn't even feel like Undermountain.  |

The Grand History of the Realms chronicles the rich history of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, presenting a detailed timeline accompanied by essays from Elminster of Shadowdale and other Realmslore experts. Although not a game supplement, it serves as a handy reference guide for players and Dungeon Masters seeking information on specific historical events. In addition, the book features an exclusive Forgotten Realms short story by best-selling author R.A. Salvatore and new revelations for Realmslore aficionados.
I'm guessing one or both of the bolded points (emphasis mine) will take up some pages. |

Grand History of the Realms; finally a Realms product for me; I was starting to worry that there wasn't anything to buy this year. I cant wait for this one, especially with the extra material ( I don't mean the short story)to fill out some of the details.
To bad about the Anauroch book, the area could have used another regional source book, as good as the old supplement is it could only cover so much. Then again, it would have had to be Greenwood to really excite me. |

| Actually, I'm looking forward to the adventure trilogy, Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde was great in terms of design etc, so if the new adventures will be in the same vein I am all for it. |

After looking at the book, and the formatting in the history section of the FRCS, I don't know that the actual product will take up as many pages as the PDF does. I could be wrong, but its my gut feeling.
On that topic, I'm interested to see if you use any of Brian's extrapolations on pre history that he came up with. |

Do we know if the title is going to be Anauroch: The Sundering of the World (as per the title on the webpage) or Anauroch: The Empire of Shade (as per the cover illustration)? I'm still unlikely to purchase these adventures because I can see little opportunity to run them in the near future.
Undermountain, on the other hand, I might just pick up. |

This is weird, but it seems that AO is listening to our DM's wishes... Anauroch comes out as we are going to explore Ascore, and other long-buried Netherese ruins in Anauroch. Undermountain, where we are going AFTER Ascore (to deal with vampires from Eric's Dungeon adventures).
It has also happened before - for example, City of Splendors last year, just as he was updating his notes on Waterdeep. Some years ago, Volo's Guide to the North, where a new Waterbaron as introduced JUST as our characters had slain the previous one!  Etc. |

The only problem is that they put the D&D logo instead of the FR logo. Ok I know with the names of Greenwood, Boyd and Reynolds on the cover it will indeed be a Realms book, but was it realy necessary?

Im just hoping that it doesnt mean theyve stripped all the realms references out if it and turned it into a generic product (Hence the lack of FR logo)

| I doubt it. I think it's more that they want it to be related to the 'Expedition to' range of products. Both Expedition to Ravenloft and Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk lack any setting logo. |
