I have heard various references to Dragon Magazine at Candlekeep and I am contemplating subscribing to it, but could someone describe it to me? Is it specific to Forgotten Realms, or is it related to various D&D campaign settings? And if the latter is correct, then how much of it is related to Forgotten Realms?

Dragon magizine is a testing ground for ideas that the creators might add to D&D. It covers all D&D not just FR but I think it still contains some FR. I have only checked out a few copioes from the library and I really like the magizine.

May Melkor smile upon every spell you cast.

I believe the post a lot of articles from it over at the "Wizsite" (www.wizards.com).

Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.

Even if it's not completly FR related, there's always articles dealing of the realms. It gives new prestige classes, weapons, feats,...
Not everything is useful or really interesting, but it's a quite cool magazine

The best way of describing Dragon magazine is vapourware.

It's an often quoted but never seen figment of someone's overactive imagination. Apparently, it's produced every month but no-one knows for certain because it's never actually delivered.

HAH HAH Kahonen that was great!

Paizo publishing took it overnow. Basically if there is a supplement or something coming out the Dragon magazine themes itself on the supplement. The last one had a cool picture of a Succubus or Erinyes, or alufiend or something, but alot of nonsense information on playing Fiend types.

MUNCHKIN.

LOL youre quite right kahonen. Paizo certainly made a mess of the UK subscriptions back in October time, no issues were received and if subscribers didnt purchase the issues from a store then they would have to go to the trouble of trying to locate back issues.

However, Wizards sent out refund cheques, and Paizo put an apology letter in this years GENCON programme.

Yeah ,I would say just over all DnD stuff. It usually has author articles, item reviews, some kind of race or character info and things like that, tried it a few times. By the way would anyone know where to get back issues (if possible) because i tried to get the FR map they gave out but could only get the bottom half just wondering.
