Could someone please tell me where to find info about Sunrise Spire and Angla Vled, two locations north-east of Baldur's Gate. Much thanks in advance. The following is a link to a map of the immediate area:

According to Sage and Prayers of the Faithful, Sunrise Spire is a ruined Monastary devoted to Lathander (Sun Soul Monk?) |

Aye.
Prayers from the Faithful contains the only tidbit of lore on the Spire as I recall... in the "Tome of the Morning" entry. The reference indicates that the Spire itself was once a Lathanderian monastery. It was destroyed in 1177 DR during a territorial dispute between two small and petty self-proclaimed princelings, due to it being considered an area of strategic importance for the region. You might want to ask Ed in his scroll about further details... since there exists so little officially published lore on the location itself.
As for Angla Vled, I don't recall there being much either. It's likely another instance of a location being noted on a Realms map with little real lore to support it.

Anga Vled is a gnome settlement I believe. See Ed's "Hin Nobody Knows" Dragon article. As always, someone will be along directly to give you an issue number.
