Several of the specific dragons are mentioned in The Rage, The Rite and The Ruin novels by Mr. Byers. Of course no stats, but it gives you a good feel for the rage. |
If I waited till I knew what I was doing, I'd never get anything done.

Sages,
I have been looking at buying the 3.0 Draconomicon (I don't believe it was updated to 3.5) How much of the dragon material that comes up in Year of Rogue Dragon series appears in Dracomnomicon? Is it worth picking up a used copy from Amazon? |

All dragon types that appear in the novels are statted in the book, smoke dragon, vampiric, faerie, chaos, landwyrm. It's a very good book even if it's 3E and only about dragons. IMHO Dragon magic is better, though not that useful |

The Draconomicon is for 3.5, not for 3E. Along with DoF, you should find everything you would need to run a campaign focused on (or including a lot of) dragon related material. |

I think so. |
When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. |

Agreed. Besides, it will probably cost less! |
