My apologies in advance, I don't know if this sort of request is kosher here. Anyway, being in my first semester of college and unable to play tabletop with people, and I was wondering if there's any advice people could give me on finding an online (AIM, whatever) based FR Campaign I could join?

A few people have email games going. They are in a sticky'd thread in this part of the boards. I'm not sure if anyone has any chat games going though. I know the WOTC boards has a classified section for online games also. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I hope my answer is not off-topic but since you are in the college try to introduce your fellow students/friends to pen-and-paper DND/FR. I think you will be amased by the number of people that will be interested.(at least to try some rp) Spread to word! Thats the way for the Roleplay community to take over the world (evil laught) |

...well, I go to West Point, so I'm not putting much hope in that Plus we simply don't have the time/space in the barracks.
But the Wizards classifieds forums haven't had a post in about a month, which sucks because all the old posts looked like what I was looking for... sent out a few PMs, but no responses thus far. |

Good luck Xandos Anskul! i red a letter from a dragon/dungeon a private serving in afganistan was telling that they had plenty of time for D&D, and the officers allowed it because it helped the soldiers to relax and have fun. |
