Seems someones sending Private messages trying to get you to help them get money. Hopefully most of you know this as a scam. They just getting access to your bank account to rip you off.

Well met

Aye, a number of members have received this. Apologies for the inconvenience. I'll be applying a modification to the forums shortly which will prevent anyone from PMing other members unless they have posted a set number of posts on the forums, which should combat this irritation.

I got the same one from the same person

"You came here to be a martyr in a great big bang of glory... instead you will die with a whimper."
::moussaoui tries to interrupt::
"You will never get a chance to speak again and that's an appropriate ending."

I just checked my spam account today and found that I'd gotten one as well.

I disabled the ability of members to send me emails. Oh well.

World is full of stupid people, or these scammers wouldn't be still trying the same scam 4 years later.

I'm also receiving the scam e-mails.

"That's right, hurl back views that force ye to think by name-calling - 'tis the grand old tradition, let it not down! Anything to keep from having to think, or - Mystra forfend - change thy own views!"

Narnra glowered at her father. "Just how am I to learn how to think? By being taught by you?"

"Some folk in the Realms would give their lives for the chance to learn at my feet," Elminster said mildly. "Several already have."
