The actual prestige class! I like how Wizards presents the prestige classes cut out of Champions of Ruin, by getting the author to elaborate on his thinking and intentions for the class. I like this one, it develops one of the evil groups within the Realm's most iconic city, great for campaigns set in Waterdeep, and perhaps elsewhere and beyond.
I hope to see more of these. I think one of the classes cut from the book was the Fire Knife Assassin.
I wonder if these articles will extent to Champions of Valor as well? |

Hmm, I wasn't aware it was to be published before CoR. Either way, this Character Class column provides the perfect outlet for it. |
