I already have the Menzoberranzan box set which is one of the best buys I have ever made ($2.00 at a garage salea few years back ) but I was also wondering if there are any other sources for this rogue mage. I plan on using him in my Menzo campaign as a contact for one of the player characters.
Thanks in advance for any help given
My DM used him as mentor for my neutral drow fighter/mage character... I remember one detail very vividly - in my Revele Sorcere Gromph had given a Baenre student (don't remeber which) a Dagger +6 and eliminated several of his rivals (both illegal accordinf to the rules of Revele Sorcere). Jalynfein interfered and confronted Gromph, tearing off his fingers, and hurled them as magic missiles at Gromph... then he grabbed the Archmage of Menzoberranzan and teleported him somewhere else. I didn't see Jalynfein for months, but eventually he returned, having battled Gromph in the planes.
