Having had a sneak peek at some of this, I can say that all fans of the Hordelands will be very happy come November. Funny thing is that all those fans seem to have disappeared after clamouring so long for some Hordelands information. Go figure.

I've just been rereading the Horde trilogy of adventures, so its fresh in my mind. I'll be looking forward to it. Of course, I've also been looking up alternate names to use for Dali Lama as well, but hey, you can't have everything . . . |

I'm happy about this. The Empires trilogy was one of the first I read, and it's always been a fave. |

I don't care that much about the Hordelands, myself, but if a bunch of people are going to be happy, I might as well be happy for them. |

New horde material? Well, maybe I will pick up a number of Dragon for once.
I always liked the Horde box, even if I don't think of it as a part of the realms. If you look away from a few details the geographical part of this book is actually great and full of adventuring ideas. The problem is that the cultural elements become to textbook and not loosely enough mixed with fantasy in my opinion. also the fact that the box details the land before the horde can be slightly irritating. |
