I was looking over the FAQ that is hosted here at Candlekeep when I noticed how out of date it is.

I remember hearing something at WotC about a new FAQ being put together, but that's about it. Will this new FAQ be connected to the one stored here at Candlekeep, or is it a completely different one? Is it finished already? If so, does anyone know where it is?

If it is at Candlekeep, are you accepting any suggestions about possible questions to include?

The Sage (and perhaps other scribes)is working on revamping the FAQ. He has a thread over at WotC asking for suggestions on what to include in it, but I'm sure you could leave him a message here about what you would like to see.

Aye,

He's been working on it.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Thanks.

As for suggestions on what to include, I've been thinking about 3rd Edition planes references. They always seem to be a big issue for discussion.

What do you think?

We have that in the CoC alrdy but I think Sage said he was going to add that to the Faq as well. :)

Well met

Aye, the FAQ at Candlekeep is the offical FAQ which was originally maintained by REALMS-L and passed to Candlekeep a few years back. The maintainer has been out of touch for some time now, and the Sage has already started a FAQ which will thus replace this outdated version.

Of course, I have to prize the scrolls out of The Sage's hands first..which is no easy feat

Lady K might be able to get something from his hands, but she's the only scribe here that could.

Only by filliing them with something else while Alaundo runs off with the scrolls. Things tend to get crumpled in the transistion I imagine.

Indeed I am.

Kuje and I have been working on collating all the more recent planar references.

I'll have an update on the progress of the FR FAQ for Candlekeep in a few days.

Wooly's right .

Though I won't go into the methods she uses to accomplish such a feat .
