Hello everyone,
I've been a gamer for more years than I care to mention, but have only recently got into Forgotten Realms. I'm looking forward to learning more about the Realms from you guys.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

Hmmm... Invid? Invid as in the alien race of invertebrate, slug-like hive creatures that originate from the world of Optera (Robotech)? Or Invid as in the group of pirates led by Leonia Tavira in the Star Wars universe?

Niether actually. It comes from something entirely. Having to do with Dwarves and the Hearth, elite women dawrven warriors who guard the homestead while the men are away. It's a warrior society, plus it rhymes. |
