Hello-
I noticed that on May 6th we broke our old users record (which had been in place since January sometime).
I wonder if it is the brief mention in the DM for Dummies book - or randomstance.
We have not had a major FR-specific release recently enough that I would think it was that - and the most recent Compendium has been available for a few weeks already.
Anyway - no matter the reason - I see it as a good thing - except when trying to 'keep up' with reading things here - and working - plus the yard-work etc, etc.

I am collecting the D&D Minis. I would be more than willing to trade with people. You can send me a PM here with your email listed - and I can send you my minis list. Thanks!
Successfully traded with Xysma! |

This will probably sound stupid, but does active users measure people logged on, or just those on the site at any given time? |

Nope the counter was reset or the old 200+ users/active was forgotten, I do not recall the actual number but it clearly was 3 digits as oposed to 73 . The number was fairly high. Perhaps near 600 hundred. |

I believe the number includes the bots and/or guests. |

I recall a record from 2002 or so that was higher, can not back it up but at least the kindly Waitress has found a number higher from an earilier time. |

Hehe... and despite my earlier frustrations at not being active at the times the previous records were set... I'm happy to say I actually was for this one.
Woot!

Well met
Indeed, Arivia is correct. I've put extra measures in place in order to eliminate spiders and robots on the forum due to the lockouts being caused a few months back, but some do make it through.
The record was much higher last year, IIRC, but was oddly reset when we moved to the new host back in January this year. |
