Welcome, welcome! Yes indeed, well met and welcome!! (think I can say "welcome" anymore? ). If ever you have a question, just ask and I'm sure one of the many scribes (myself included) here can find an answer for ya. |
"What's that," asked Mogget. "Sardines," said Sam. "I knew they were standard rations, so I got a few tins for you." "What are sardines?" Moggest asked suspiciously. "And why is there a key? Is this some sort of Abhorsen joke?" Abhorsen by Garth Nix

Well met, Jalapeno! May your visists to Candlekeep be as enriching and nice to you as they are to me! |
Love magic for itself. Do not treat it just as a weapon to reshape the world to your will. True wisdom is knowing when not to use magic. Strive to use magic less as your powers develop, for often the threat or promise of its use outstrips is actual performance. Magic is an Art, the Gift of the Lady, and those who wield it are privileged it the extreme. Conduct yourself humbly, not proudly, while being mindful of this. Use the Art deftly and efficiently, not carelessly and recklessly. Seek always to learn and create new magic. |

Heh. I told you I wasn't a very good speller, Zemd!
And it's called the eņe (in-yay); the '~' squiggle is a tilde (till-day). It's to show a 'nye' sound (like in the English word "canyon").
And a jalapeņo is a chili pepper. A hot chili pepper. Though not the hottest -- the jabaņero takes that prized position. (I certainly hope there's nothing hotter -- that stuff can actually burn your skin! ) |

I'm really impressed. (:
I think Dragonlance is much much more better than fr ? Doesn't it.I read some turkish version of fr but I couldn't be able to find any skill of literature.20 pages of war scene just telling that happened this happened doesn't interest me much. .For example in a Dl book " He felt the stell of sword in his heart and fell the ground slowly" But in a fr [the same scene] "Giant sword digged his chest to smash his heart. All his inner organs spilled with blood he felt and broke his neck the bones were visible" Which one is more impressive?Dragonlance rulz. |

I also read french versions of FR novels. I found them cool but not very impresive. Them i found that in french they cut 1/3 of the book, and the translation isn't very good. I'm reading them in english now ... Just terrific |
