can the The Hamagess’ Staffsprout spell apply itself to several branch on a tree in the same time with a only casting ?
Can one destroy a tree wholly with this spell if the branch didn't break off ?
Thanks for your future answer.

The spell does not affect branches on a tree; they're only used as material components. I'm not an authority on 2e rules, but that's my interpretation. |

The only material component in the description is a magic staff, not the branch. |

And you would be correct. It causes branches to grow out of a wand, staff, or rod and the material components are said items and a branch from certain trees. |

there are two versions from the spell, one in the chapter : Leaves of Gold and an other in Chapter 10 that seems to be a version for the 3rd edition.

:) Yar :)
And even so, both spells from the 2e version and the 3e version say the same thing. The spell causes a branch to sprout from a rod, staff, or wand or in 3e's version, a staff. |
