I just got an email from Paizo, and thought I'd share it here. It's an interesting deal, and one I think I'll take advantage of.

quote:
New Month-to-Month Subscriptions Available!

New, easy-to-budget, month-to-month options for subscribing to Dragon and Dungeon magazines!

Some of our readers tell us that the big reason they don't subscribe to our magazines is that they just can't afford to pay for 12 issues of our magazines at once. Even though our regular subscription pricing presents a huge discount off of the cover price, it's still just too much for some gamers to fit into their gaming budget for any one month.

We understand that, so we've done something about it.

Our new month-to-month Dragon and Dungeon subscription options are just the ticket. Instead of paying for your subscription all at once, we'll just charge you each month before we ship your magazine—and you'll save 35% off the cover price of each issue (24% off for Canadian subscribers)!

So, now you can pay just a few bucks a month for the two best values in gaming, and you never have to worry about renewing your subscription!

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Note: month-to-month subscriptions are currently only available to US and Canadian subscribers.

Bah. I don't subscribe because the overseas-addon-cost makes it more expensive than buying it in a shop.
And no, I don't quite understand how that works out either, I've mentioned elsewhere that another shop less than 200 metres from the one I buy most of my FR-stuff is about 60% more expensive when it comes to Dragon and Dungeon Magazines...

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

It's still more than if you go ahead and do a one-year sub.

Indeed. But it's not the lump sum. For some, tossing out $5 once a month is a lot easier than a one-time sum of $40. And this deal still beats cover price.
