It is one of my favorite books and I love it as is. However with some of Ed's books supposedly getting, along with new covers, actual new text, it would be nice if there was an edition of Evermeet that included the dates at the beginning of each story. I know that it is supposed to be told as a compliation by a human. I haven't been reading Realms novels long enough to know if the actual years were presented to the public when Evermeet was first printed, but I do see now that most of the books actual occurances have been mapped out in various sources in timeline format.

Like I mentioned, I wouldn't care if this doesn't happen and I'm sure some of you or even Elaine herself have reasons for this not to be the case.(I would guess mostly because they are supposed to be tales of legend and its "fictional readers" aren't privledged to the information that us readers in the "real world" have.) I'm just a fan of other realms books that Provide a date because I enjoy cross referencing it with other sources (books, websites, etc.) It adds to the experience for me.

It would also be nice if Elaine had some unpublished chapters to provide to my imaginary expanded edition....a boy can dream, right?

Evermeets an interesting book all round.

It actually detailed in Forgotten Realms terms the relationship between the Greyhawk Pantheon Seldarine and bringing them in line with the Realms pantheon.

I quite liked it.

Umm, I would say "no" to that suggestion simply because there are some timeline snarls in the narrative - better to keep it slightly cloudy as published.
