In Vampires of the Mist novel Jander visits a mental asylum in the Dock district of Waterdeep. By the end of the 2nd chapter he burns the Asylum down.
Was the Asylum rebuilt after Jander burnt it down?
If not whats built on top of it?
In Prince of Lies Midnight takes Adon to an Asylum is it the Waterdeep Asylum? (Presumably rebuilt)

I don't think this has been officially determined.

No, she takes him to Mystra's Arms ($66). This asylum for insane arcane spellcasters is also referenced in The Dream Spheres, page 190, 371.

Hmmm ok thank Eric
Might be one for he who speaks with a Canadian ascent might know
An abandeoned Mental Asylum would make a good site for a "Haunted house" in Waterdeep
I wonder if Jander knew of Morlin........ |

You could also try asking Steven, since he did that Realms By Night series on Waterdhavian ghosts several years ago. |

I dont think Stevens been about since I posted the thread
Those are some awesome articles Wooly thanks
Although there seems to be a realmslore conflict
According to the Stevens Crying Girl Article the Anteos family cant have children but in the Erics Nobles of Waterdeep article they have an infant son |

Yeah, I really enjoyed those, myself. Too bad they ended...
About the possible Realmslore conflict, a solution is easy enough: someone found the girl's body and laid her to rest, ending the haunting.
About Artor and Jander... Since Jander didn't spend much time in the city, laired away from the city, and took care never to create any vampires, I doubt he and the Baron of Blood ever knew of each other. |
