hi, i'm new to the forum and a newer fan to the realms and the game itself. i'm long time fantasy fan who, about a year ago, read the dark elf trilogy and i've been in love with the forgotten realms world ever since. this site is fantastic and i look foward to getting to talk about my love of these stories with other fans. most of my friends are excepting of my love of d&d and fantasy in general, but don't care about it and i get the "dork" comments quite regularly. i don't mind at all and am proud of it! its just nice to really be able to get into things here on this site. cheers!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
