Now the 54,000 dollar question for Eric is: Does Dragons of Faerun assume that readers already own Draconomicon or is there a bit of repeat material from that book republished in DoF? |

It'll be a long while before I can answer questions about this product.
Sorry, but that's the way it is for a freelancer. Feel free to speculate however. ;-)

This part amuses me: "The Forgotten Realms answer to the Draconomicon."
Why does it amuse me? Because the first Draconomicon was a Realms product! |

No, you should've put your quip thusly: Were dragon? There dragon. |

Well, I can tell you guys one thing I want to see in the book, as absurd as it sounds and as niche-cheesy as it is.
I'd like to see a really powerful Avariel Only prestige class that helps the race battle dragons. On top of the evil and unjustifiable +3 level adjustment for the race, especially when compared to the Fey'ri, somehow this race beat back thousands of dragons over the centuries in Sossal. Now, no offense, but with Elf CON and a +3 level adjustment, they ought to have developed some really buff dragonbattling techniques that are unique to their race.
Thank you for listening. |

You have an interesting idea, but not one likely to be addressed in the book, given how far along the process is. You might propose and article to Dragon magazine.

Wow, that's a brave suggestion, Eric. I haven't been published in Dragon since issue #210. |

My advice with Dragon is that if you want to get something published, send in multiple ideas. That way, at least one of them has a decent shot of making it in. |

Hello-
I just ducked into the 'archive' room -a nd looked up Dragon #210. I seem to recall reading that article - and it was good IIRC. I've pulled it out to re-read over the next couple of evenings - depending on when I finish other readings.
As far as Dragon submissions go - I've thought about it - but I think I'll try my hand at something or two in the Compendium first - to see if I even have a modicrum of ability.
For topicality - I agree that the level adjustment of +3 seems steep - and would whole-heartedly accept some info on PrC's based on their striving against Dragons. Perhaps after Dragons of Faerun comes out - and you have a chance to digest that info - you should think about it!

The goal would be "Run everything past Mr. Boyd, see if there are any feats, etc that he thinks the Prc should have, and add those to the bonus feats the class grants after your initial draft is done, include the feats, etc, so that Paizo can use proper marketing techniques and release it the month the book comes out." :) |

Will Dragons of Faerun provide Draconomicon style infomation on the Faerun specfic Dragons? (Such as Fang, Brown etc) also any chance we theres a suggested names side bar for the different breeds of Dragons? (ie like the suggested names in the FRC for Illuskans, Chondanthans, Moon Elves etc) |
