Hi, I really enjoy playing a shadow dancer character, and what Id enjoy even more is to ready a story with one it.
Does anyone know of a book with a Shadow Dancer in it in anyway... main character, side character, it doesnt matter...
Thanks!

Valas Hune was often described in the War of the Spider Queen series as jumping from shadow to shadow and I think his official build gave him levels in the class too IIRC. |

Ahem. Off the top of my head:
In the Erevis Cale trilogy, by Paul Kemp, there's a character who gains powers that are much like shadowdancing.
Now I'm going to say this NOT out of marketing interests, but because you're interested in shadowdancers: My novella in RoE might be one you'll want to read.

RoE is Realms of the Elves, an Anthology that will be out soon.
There will be no more books in the Rogues series. Each of the class series are four books. |

TheGato --
Don't worry. I have it on good faith that there might very well be more. Eventually.
And keep in mind that there will be a second Erevis Cale trilogy as well. One that seems likely to deal with Shade Enclave quite considerably.

You might need to check out ebay or an online book seller, as they may be out of print. worth the search, in my opinion though |

Gah! Way to revive an ancient scroll, Erik.
The code of silence has rested on this one, so I can reveal that yes, my novel Depths of Madness will have a shadowdancer as well. And why? Because it's the same one who's in my RotE story.
Also, I imagine that Kemp's new trilogy about Cale (the Twilight War) will have some shadowdancing as well.

Nope. Valas Hune was statted out in Dragon #312 as a Rogue 10/Ranger 2/Fighter 4. His movement abilities and appearing/disappearing are down to his custom piwafwi, a ring of speed and a brooch that allows him to dimension door. |

Oho! I wonder who that is. |
